Liyang (溧阳, pinyin: L Yng) is a county-level city of Jiangsu province, in China. Population: 780,000.

Administration

In August 1990, the State Department appoved Liyang updating from County to City Level, subject to Changzhou prefecture-level city.

Geography

Liyang is between 311'-314' (north latitute), 11908'-11936' (east longitude). Area: 1535.87 sq.km.

Liyang resides at the boundary of Jiangsu and Anhui provinces, belonging to Shanghai Economic Developing Zone, which is within the area of Yangtse River Delta.

Sights

Tianmu Lake inside Liyang, is one of the most beautiful touring areas of China.
